In the song, Nai Palm sings “Close to your molecules, I wanna be”, showing a longing to be as close as possible with one another. “Chivalry is Not Dead” was the last single before the album’s release, and it is a high-energy yet sensual track. Leading into “Chivalry Is Not Dead”, the previous transitional track “Sip Into Something Soft” foreshadows what’s to come as the lyrics state “They say chivalry is dead / I’mma make it up to you”.
